"Follow The Signs"

Boljun

In the northern part of Istria, on the low slopes of mountain Učka, lays a small old village called Boljun. Boljun existed since the Roman Empire, and in medieval times it gained its importance because of the castle that was built there. The village is located on a hill that overlooks the main road from Učka to Labin and because of its strategic location it was attacked many times throughout history. Today it's a small and calm village that lives off the land and farming.
