The first day in Chamonix was spend mostly in rain. It was a bit disappointing since the purpose of my trip there was photography. At late afternoon we decided to pitch a tent since we were tired of rain and in front of us was small ferrata (easy one) but since we had full and heavy backpacks we decided its better that we don't try to cross it while its raining. Before night the rain slowed down a bit so we went outside to see if we can find something to shoot...As I went a bit higher I noticed that a small window cleared up in front of me just as much to see Dent du Géant embraced in this gloomy sunset atmosphere which made me a bit happy to have at least one good photograph from that rainy day.
